Rate Plans - Defining services for your customers

Rate plans are used to assign pricing to your customers. When you create a rate plan you decide what services and access points you want to include. Each access point can have different pricing.

An "access point" in a rate plan adds the service you want to give your customers that use this rate plan.

For example, the "USA" access point in a rate plan allows your customer to use the USA access number to make calls. The access point "SMS" allows your customer to send SMSs. The access point "USA/Canada Toll Free Number" allows your customer to use the USA/Canada toll free number to make calls. The access point "IP PHONE" allows your customer to make an IP phone call. If a rate plan does not contain the access point "IP PHONE", a customer that is assigned this rate plan will not be able to make an IP phone call.

In your Diamondcard account you can click 'call rates' to see what services are available to you. If you are a PE or PCCD admin whatever access points you see there can also be assigned to your customers.

Prices defined for your customers can be dynamic based on your wholesale pricing from Diamondcard.
